Christmas Playlists
It’s the most wonderful time of the year….
time for CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!!
I admit it. I’m a Christmas Music obsessive-compulsive. I have hundreds, if not thousands, of Christmas songs on my iPod. Every year, I pick 20 or so songs and create a mixed CD to give to friends and family. They tell me that they wait each year for my compilation. So, here is 2007’s version.
(Links to YouTube provided, where available.)

2. O Holy Night – Tracey Chapman 3:28
3. I Believe – Frank Sinatra 2:34

Shrew’s playlist has more obscure songs, so I couldn’t find any on YouTube. You’ll just have to ferret out those on your own. I reckon iTunes is good place to start.
These are some great new finds from Shrew, and I’m always looking for more.
So, how about you? Give me your Christmas song playlist. Twenty of your favorites that you like to share.

I have the biggest vehicle, so I cart everyone around to all the
various Christmas gatherings from dinners, cocktail parties, new
winery openings and drives to see Christmas lights around town.
My 6 disc CD player is loaded with the following:
I burned a copy of my “A Very Special Christmas”
which now includes Taylor Hicks Christmas at the Rockefeller
Center and Hicks in Christmas in Washington DC. I left off
Run-D.M.C.’s Christmas in Hollis. Surprisingly I left Santa Baby
sung by
Madonna on this copy. Added to the text (if your CD player reads
text on music CDs) “I can’t
believe I put this on this CD. Makes my friends
laugh because they know I don’t like Madonna
yet see this song title and artist on my CD player.
Here are the other tracks.
The Pointer Sisters
“Santa Claus is Coming To Town”
Eurythmics
“Winter Wonderland”
Whitney Houston “Do You Hear What I Hear?”
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
