Thank You for the Music, ABBA
….and thanks to you all for coming here and being such great compadres on the musical road of life.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into God’s presence with singing!
Know that the Lord is God! It is he that made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him, bless his name!
For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures for ever,
and his faithfulness to all generations. – Psalm 100

I’m getting the impression that we’re all more sentimental this year than ever. Maybe we just have a greater appreciation for the things money can’t buy. Goodwill, good vibes, a good discussion. I admit that I don’t stop by here often enough. Still, I like knowing that you’re here.
Your blog does indeed make a joyful noise. Thanks for that.

An interesting thought for the day from a favorite, and much missed, observer of our society . . .
Thanksgiving dinners take eighteen hours to prepare. They are consumed in twelve minutes. Half-times take twelve minutes. This is not coincidence.
