Welcome Back to Alabama, Taylor! Hope Dothan was good to ya!

I just don’t get tired of this song. Here’s to finding the “right” place….

I’m with ya. It’s a goodie! I’m so out of the loop — is Taylor touring for a good bit more time? Through the fall maybe? I wonder when work on album numero dos is going to go down.

I think he’s got a few more concert dates, particularly a big one next Sunday night at The Wharf in Orange Beach. No doubt, he’ll be after-partying at the FloraBama this Labor Day weekend. Sure wish I could go but this bum leg just can’t make that kind of scene just yet.

I have garnered through the internets that Taylor is currently writing music for his next CD and will take a hiatus from touring in the fall to begin work on it. Speculation is that it will be finished by early 08 so that he can tour again next Spring/Summer.

Of course, he hasn’t returned my calls so I haven’t been able to confirm. (I keed, I keed.)

Thank you for the update! Maybe you could be a publicist or manager in your next lifetime?? 😉

Have you ever been to The Wharf? I’ve passed it of course, but never gone.

Very nice rendition of this song. He seems to be in good voice. I have been very out of touch with all things Taylor lately (probably a good thing). I hope next year will bring the acoustic tour he has talked about.

Hope you are well and that your leg is healing. I’m sorry about your kitten. Losing a pet is very sad.

Thanks, BRC. It’s been a pretty crappy summer, all in all.

But, hope is alive. LSU football starts Thursday!!!!

Nolagirl — The Wharf is a big, big mall. Very commercial and expensive, which makes beaucoup bucks for us here in South Alabama. Long live Free Enterprise!

Seriously, I’ve talked about Taylor playing the Wharf and undoubtedly The FloraBama since my Double D days at Graycharles, so I’m thoroughly bummed to have to miss out. I’m sure that there will be ample reports from the field, however.

I do know that there will be approx. 1,000,002 people at “the beach” this weekend. My ass is stuck in Mobile, with an ice pack.
