How Do I Love Thee…?

14 Feb

Let me count the ways.

Ah…l’amour. Thrilling, euphoric, tragic and agonizing. No more complicated emotion, but truly the “essence of life”.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

— 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Well, Mr. D scheduled a colonoscopy for tomorrow morning, so no eating or drinking after 9am today…he’s having broth for supper. So it goes with us “old” lovers. HA!

    That is hysterical D!

Well, I am exhausted due to this little pregnancy thing I’ve got going on, plus we’re broke…so I’m making an economical dinner of red beans and rice.

Nothing says I love you like beans. I guess us young-ish lovers aren’t much better;)
