Just what IS a Blue Raider?

ETA: LSU Rolls on…

LSU 44, MTSU 0

As for Mike the Tiger, looks like it’ll be a few more weeks until he makes his debut into Tiger Stadium. Although the big cat is making a smooth transition, LSU’s vet says it’s like puting a10-year old boy in an environment he’s never seen before. The 3-year old Siberian Tiger is some kind of majestic, though. Evidently, he seems to really be enjoying his $4 million habitat right next to Tiger Stadium, as well as the crowds that gather to watch him.

Amazing how such a cute little “kitten” can grow into such a large, ferocious beast…

Now, I just can’t help myself…..GEAUX TIGERS!! Bring on Spurrier.

————————————————————————————————

LSU’s next victim opponent is Middle Tennessee State. While the reigning SunBelt Champions are sure to have been preparing diligently this week, a Saturday night date in Tiger Stadium on a soggy field does not bode well for the Blue Raiders. And, this ain’t Louisville.

I do have to give these MTSU band jocks some props for the cajones, though:

Not quite as dainty as these Southern belles, however.

We’re on Mike the Tiger watch again this week….bring on Roscoe!

GGGGGEEEEAAAAUUUUXXXXX TTTTIIIIIIIIIIGGGGEEERRRRRRSSSSS!!!

Can’t stand football, but loves me some tigers. Wow! The tiger cheesecake is wonderful, MM.

apropos of nothing but music: Saw Tony Bennett in concert this weekend. amazing. the guy looked terrific, very suave. And he was the most gracious, generous (to his wonderful musicians), humble entertainer I’ve seen in a long while. He also sounds unbelievably good, still swinging like crazy and still hitting those big chest notes. He called himself and Rosemary Clooney “the original American Idols.” Tony, baby, compared to you the AI kids are not even close….

Oh yeah, and here’s Tony and Stevie last year dueting on the song T-Man made famous and Mr. Wonder also had a hit with — just a postscript on the Steve thread:
